Our History

Revived Interiors was founded by Bob Fejfar to provide quality remodeling services to the high-end market in the Des Moines metro area and surrounding communities. Revived can trace its roots to 1993, when its partner, Bob Fejfar began providing construction services throughout the Des Moines metro area. Over the years, Bob touched many facets of the residential construction industry from flooring installation and trim carpentry, to custom home building and full home remodeling. Bob not only oversaw hundreds of projects to completion as a company owner, superintendent, and project manager, but, as a highly skilled master carpenter, Bob set the standard for quality of workmanship on all finish carpentry in the homes he worked on.

Bob’s nearly three decades of experience and his eye for quality have earned him a reputation in the high-end remodeling space that has led to a successful career and many happy customers along the way.

Our Process

A renovation project is exciting. We understand it is also an investment. One that can seem daunting at times. This is why we prioritize perfecting our process to make it as straightforward and time-efficient as possible. So you can rest easy knowing your project is in good hands.

Call or email us to schedule a complimentary consultation. We’ll visit you at your home to get an understanding of your needs, scope of work, and budget. After this visit, we provide you with a bid range showing you the possible price scope of your intended project. Once you’re ready to move forward, your project will move on to the Planning and Design phase.

Together with our design team we make your layouts, cabinetry details, finish selections and solidify the scope of the project. We then present the design using advanced 3D renderings, in order to get final approval of plans and selections.

After you have approved the final plans and selections, we obtain final pricing and prepare a final construction proposal. Once approved, your project is ready to begin the construction phase and moves on to a pre-construction meeting with the relevant constituents.

At the preconstruction meeting, we gather all of the relevant parties to your project for a formal handoff meeting. Any remaining questions are addressed. Materials are ordered. And the construction start date is solidified.
