We currently have four positions open. We are looking for a Project Manager/Finish Carpenter, Carpenter Apprentice, Painter Apprentice,  & Tile Installer.

Project Manager/Finish Carpenter

Revived Interiors is a design-build firm servicing the high-end residential market in the greater Des Moines area. As we continue to grow, we are looking for the right candidate to join our team of highly skilled trim and finish carpenters on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate needs to have residential carpentry experience with an aptitude for precision. We prefer candidates that have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with finish carpentry. This position involves working on a variety of projects from small to large and doing a variety of finish carpentry work. Key Skills: 

• Proficient in all aspects of residential carpentry involving: trim work including stair building, siding, framing, and the like, with emphasis on detail work

• Able to aid in supervising and directing other employees, subcontractors, and vendors
• Forward-thinking & able to problem solve
• Able to read and understand blueprints, assist in material take-offs, and coordinating job schedules

• Organized and desires to leave a work-site, shop, and company vehicle tidy
• Punctuality: Being early is on time, on time is late!

Carpenter Apprentice

Are you a strong, hard-working, curious, and self-reliant individual? Most importantly, are you looking to start or grow your skillset in the residential construction field? 

We are looking to fill a starting position within our company. This role will be rewarding but is not for everyone. You must be willing to perform the hard labor that will be required. You will be expected to work well with others, be observant and anticipate the needs of a job/team member for better work-flow, learn and receive direction under one of our construction professionals, and take additional initiative in your education in the variety of tasks you will be asked to work on.

This role will not be the same task every week, or even day. You may be assisting in tile floor installation in the morning and working with the team on roofing later in the day. While the job sites are dynamic, some of the main tasks this position would include are: 

• General job-site cleanup
• Hauling debris
• Moving new construction materials
• Protecting job sites with paper/plastic/tape
• Assisting in the installation of a wide variety of materials

This is a new position at Revived Interiors. We are a design-build firm in West Des Moines, Iowa focusing on creating sophisticated spaces for our clients. As we grow we are looking for quality individuals with loyalty, the will to learn, the ability to work hard and take advantage of the opportunity to acquire a valuable set of skills. This is an excellent position if you are ready and willing to learn and foster the potential in yourself.  

• Starting rate is competitive and commensurate with relevant work experience
• 40+ hour work week, Monday-Friday, with potential for after-hours/weekend work
• 90-day introduction/trial period
• Reliable personal transportation is a requirement

Painter Apprentice

Are you a strong, hard-working, curious, and self-reliant individual? Most importantly, are you looking to start or grow your skillset in the residential construction field?

• Assisting in the prep and post-painting process
• Assisting and learning the paint process with all application methods including brush, roller and sprayer
• Take direction from a supervisor, but also have the self-reliance to anticipate helpful tasks for the team and painting process

• Proficient in all aspects of tile installation: subfloor requirements and prep, placement and pattern requirements, aesthetic placement of variety in tile texture and pattern, ability to avoid lippage with all tile types
